Oolan's Supra

Oolan decided to leave his Saturn at home and bring his other toy - a Toyota Supra twin-turbo with 375 horsepower on tap.

With three groups based on ability levels alternating on and off the track in 20 minute sessions, there was plenty of time to relax, spectate, and ride along with other drivers.

Honda S2000 (22k)

A Honda S2000 - what a good-looking car.

Part of the group engaged in stimulating discussion (lots of BS).

Shootin' the bull (26k)
Christena, Jason, John C, Jennifer, and Oolan.

Civic (22k)
The Civic after its tow.

The day was pretty uneventful except for Mike Kramer's broken front wheel bearing on his SC2, and Brian M's Civic losing the oil drain plug on the track.

After some thorough track cleanup, a new drain plug, and an oil refill, Brian was back on the track in no time.  There appeared to be no significant engine damage - now that's some serious luck!

One of the twin purple 94 SC2s present (Joe, or Mark?).  With a stripped interior and most of the front bumper cover removed (now that's improved airflow), it was one of the many unique-looking cars that blasted down the track.

It couldn't have been a much better day for some high-speed driving enjoyment.  A big thanks goes to John, Jennifer, and Roger at SPS for organizing this great event.
