In recognition of the dedication of our members and their support of Saturn's One Lap of America racing effort, Dennis R (an engineer from Saturn's One Lap team) presented the Saturn Performance Club with a piece of history.  We were given a front fender from the 2001 SC1 that won its class in One Lap 2001.  It was a great surprise to end our rally, and were very honored.  It felt great to get some recognition and thanks from the folks at Saturn.

At the right, you can Tapp accepting the fender from Dennis on behalf of the club.  It will be prominently displayed in the SPC clubhouse, and will be appreciated & revered by all those who participate in future club events.

You can take a closer look at the 2001 One Lap of America SC1 in my event archives HERE.
