The 2003 SPC Rally

Just before he left St. Louis, MO, Kevin K was putting the finishing touches on converting his purple '95 SC1 to an OBD2 twin-cam.  In this video, Alex P was taking the car for a spin.  In case it's not obvious, Alex has a good amount of autocross experience.

Arlene C (MI) ready to run, and Matt B (OH) navigating the course.

The rain that began in the morning ended shortly after noon.  Most of the EuroFest crowd had gone home by this time, and each of us got at least 8 runs throughout the day.

Late in the afternoon, fun runs were held where times did not count toward final standings.  Many people took passengers for a thrilling ride, while others took the opportunity to push the car even further.

During the fun runs, Dirk H hit the course and made several balls-out runs.  I have never seen a car run over so many cones.

The officials stopped counting at ten, and began scrounging around for some kind of award to present to Dirk.

Gary H drove his green '95 SL2 from Lexington, KY.  Gary has been autocrossing for years and always impresses us with his precision driving and his ability to turn some astounding times.  And Gary took the opportunity during the fun runs to push himself and his car even further.

John & Sarah M's son John enjoyed watching the fast cars, and hearing the howling tires and roaring exhaust.  He badly wanted to take Mom's Honda CRV for a run.

Daddy couldn't have been more proud.
