| After we left the show on Saturday afternoon, we visited the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet IL. Where most private country clubs offer golf & tennis, this one is for those who prefer their sports at wide open throttle. We stopped by to get a look at the place where the 2005 Rally's lapping session will be held. You can find more information HERE. One of our favorite activities each time we together in Chicago is head-to-head slot car racing at Dynamic Slot Cars. You can't beat the amount of entertainment they provide for about $8 an hour. You just better make sure to practice your trash talk before you go. You can see more slot car action from prior events in my event archives.

Running the cars wide open will result in frequent off-track excursions. When the track is several feet from the floor and from the walls, this can be hard on the cars. Here we see Deebs performing some maintenance on his car.

| After a long day Saturday, it was back to the hotel to relax and tip back a few. Sunday morning, we began our trips home. It was quite an enjoyable time - the auto show, movie, great meals & conversation, the sneak peek of Autobahn Country Club, and talking trash while racing slot cars.
