Our drive went past Chicago's famous Buckingham Fountain.  We stopped for a few minutes to listen to the roar of the water, watch some birds, and pose for a few photos.  In the photo above are Tapp, Denise P, and me.

The next stop on the van tour was a Blue Man Group show at Briar Street Theater in downtown Chicago.

We've seen Blue Man before during other club events, but the show is so engaging that it's always worth seeing again.  While you may have seen glimpses of them in TV's Intel commercials, that doesn't really give you an idea of what they're about.  For a description of the type of show to expect, read this article.
  

If you recall, I had mentioned earlier that part of the group had decided on Wednesday morning (May 16) to make their way to Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI.  In the photo above, you can see Christena and Tim waiting to enter the track.  As soon as everyone arrived, the weather became uncooperative and it begain to rain.  The track closed without anyone being able to make a run.
