Chicago Auto Show '07 |
Chrysler had an indoor driving course set up to take passengers through as a demonstration. Wow, those are some serious orange cones. Run over one of those, and you'll be delayed by more than just a 2-second penalty.

As usual, there were a lot of unique and interesting vehicles. We do
spend a few hours at the show, but it never seems like it is enough to feel
that we've seen everything. Click any of the photos below for a larger

After taking a close look at a lot of shiny things, we hopped back on the train for the ride home. We also stopped off for something to eat, and some ice cream too (another requirement for an official club event). Since we often like to take in a movie during club events, an informal vote was taken and we decided on the clear favorite... |
Several people who lived nearby placed some calls attempting to find a theater where the movie Borat was still playing without much luck. Then I remembered that our hotel video system was advertising it on the guide as a pay-per-view.

So, we got ahold of some cold beverages and piled into a room to get
comfortable and watch. |
|
The word comfortable
apparentlly means more to some than it does to others. Little did we know the ruckus we'd become so late at night. It was a heck of a funny movie, and I'm sure we annoyed those in the rooms around us. |
After yet
another late night, we turned in. We'd be up early for breakfast on
Saturday morning before hitting the road for the drive home. Like all of our events, we had a very enjoyable time - the auto show, great meals & conversation, watching Borat, and of course, ice cream. Interested in joining us for club events in the future?
