Chicago Auto Show '06

This was Toyota's F3R minivan concept, and it had some SERIOUS interior space.  This is how EVERY minivan and wagon should be designed.  It looks great and can carry a whole hell of a lot of stuff.

Our friends at MSR Racing had this beautifully prepared Formula Vee race car in the Chicago Region SCCA booth.

Here's the 2006 Dodge Challenger concept.  It's another great-looking retro model, and it shows some of the same body lines of the Challenger models from the 1960s.  I hope that Dodge ends up making this car, because it is refreshing to see vehicles that are not as bland as all the others on the road - even if they do have to re-do older body designs from when cars had style and character.

This is one smooth looking car.

This is the "Ecto 1" from the movie Ghostbusters.  The Volo Auto Museum included it in their exhibit where they had a number of rare vintage musclecars, along with several vehicles that had been made famous in movies.

Other cars on display included Herbie the Love Bug, a 1957 Plymouth Fury from the movie Christine, and a 1970 Dodge Charger that Vin Diesel drove in the movie The Fast And The Furious.
