The turbo is mounted to the front of the engine where the ignition coil pack normally resides and is fed from the lower part of the exhaust manifold downpipe.  It isn't very easy to see since the now-insulated upper radiator hose and air conditioning lines obstruct the view.

 

A clear path exists for airflow through the front bumper cover opening to the intercooler, which isn't visible from the engine compartment.
