Blackhawk Farms Raceway 5/2000

We were joined by
a wide variety of vehicles out on the track with drivers of many different ages.
Surprisingly, there weren't a lot of the common 'import tuner' type vehicles. About
65 people participated in the drivers school.

A Volkswagen Corrado having some mechanical difficulty being towed off the track. Hey, at least they were able to find the wheel! We also witnessed a Porsche go into a spin on a corner and hit a tire wall - he was able to drive away with no major damage.

Here I am between a BMW and a Trans Am - not bad company at all.

Alex P flyin' by. He was one of several that made the trip all the way from Minnesota.
|
Jim on the tail of a Mustang. Even though it was Jim's first track event, he only hit the grass twice. I think it's safe to say that he's got the bug.
